So this year will be interesting to say the least in wrestling video games.
We have the debut of the TNA Impact series, along with the rumored, best addition to the SVR series. What are you looking forword to and what do you plan on buying? This is a general discussion about the two games.
First of all, I plan on buying SVR 09 before I do TNA Impact. The Create a Finisher thing has me psyched, the screenshots are as great as ever, the Storylines will once again be actual storylines, and overall I just can't wait to view the game, it was also said that the roster will be bigger than ever too.
On the other hand, the TNA impact game will be a slight breath of fresh air. There are alot of diehard TNA fans that dispise WWE, so this should make them happy. The graphics look pretty good and midway is in the mix so we can expect greatness.
Yet I'm just afraid that TNA Impact will be limited, and the gameplay don't look to be the best, but that's just what I've seen.
I hope that SVR 09 won't end up a disappointment like 08, it already sounds like pure greatness.
What do you guys think about the whole situation so far?

Too early to really tell. I'd have to rent both games before judging. Reason for rent being that I forgot to rent SVR08 instead of buying, didn't like them overcountering.

I'm getting '09. The TNA game doesn't look bad, but it also isn't good. It's TNA's first game, let them fix problems and buy the next game. It will be better.

I will get the TNA because I think in the end it will be something worth having. Personally I think all the WWE games are the same.

I admit, TNA is better, but WWE wins in the game department.
