Official Format for Profound Wrestling Association Rules and Guidelines.
Notes to remember,
1. Introduction to the E-Fed.
First and for most, This E-Fed was created for fun. Please make it a pleasurable experience for not only yourself, but everyone else as well. There will occasionally be ROSTER CLEANOUTS so be sure to post if you intend on staying with the fed. Role play for your match/show, if you don't you're at risk for being deleted.
2. Role Play and Match Writing Rules and guidelines.
In your 5 Rp limit you must have one Shoot! If you do not have atleast one Shoot in ur RPs then you will be counted as a no show. CD’s are not on camera. So I hope you all understand..
Roleplays due the Sunday before the show at:
Pacific Time USA: 10:59 pm
Mountain Time USA: 11:59 pm
Central Time USA: 12:59 am (monday)
Eastern Time USA: 1:59 am (Monday)
England: 6:59 am (monday)
Melbourne: 4:59 pm (monday
Match and Segment Deadlines
Due the Sunday before the show at:
Pacific Time USA: 10:59 pm
Mountain Time USA: 11:59 pm
Central Time USA: 12:59 am (Monday)
Eastern Time USA: 1:59 am (Monday)
England: 6:59 am (Monday)
Melbourne: 4:59 pm (Monday)
3. No Showing:
---There will be a three strike policy implemented for no showing. This also counts for not Roleplaying in the “Scheduled to Appear” thread when not placed in a match. The penalties will go as follows:
------Strike 1: Jobbed to your opponent.
------Strike 2: Jobbed quickly to your opponent and your character’s image will be tarnished by the writers (wrestle in a diaper, etc.).
------Strike 3: You will be terminated from the federation.
---If you no show a PPV, then you will probably not be booked in any further storylines until we are told as to why you no showed. Same rules apply as above.
---If you are a champion and no show, expect to be dropped to the bottom of the rankings. This is inexcusable.
---- If you are a CC member and do not let us know prior to booking that you can not RP then you are 1st time dropped to the bottom of the rankings..
2nd time: You will be off the CC.. You character will be Jobbed... Also you Character will be no higher than mid card.. If you where mid card you will be dropped to the low card.. Untill you can learn to RP for your matches...
4. RP Types / Rules
--- Both Shoot and Character Development RP's are allowed in this fed. A shoot RP is one where you talk directly to your opponent and call them everything. Whatever your opponent says in this RP is useable in your own RP against him. Character development RP's (also called CD's) are off camera and is what is happening in your opponent’s life away from the camera and such. You can see it...but you can't use it. These are just so that you get an idea of how your opponent might be in the ring or such. They might mention their match in the CD, which is asked of them, however you can't use it in your RP. Any questions, PM a member of Creative Control, listed below
--- If you do not have at least one Shoot in your RPs then you will be counted as a no show. CD’s are not on camera. So I hope you all understand.
5. Stacking Rule:
---Singles: If you roleplay, and your opponent does not respond within 24 hours you may then post another roleplay. This is a hard rule. For example: If you roleplay on February 15th at 7:00 PM, and your opponent doesn't reply by February 16th at 7:00 PM, you may post again. Do not post at 6:55, 6:58 or 6:59. 24 hour, period.
---Tag Team Matches: If you roleplay, your partner (if there is a second handler handling the other half of your team) may not post until a 12 hour "cooling off" period has passed IF someone from the opposing team has not yet posted. For example: If one member of Team A posts at 4 PM on Thursday, the second member may post at 4 AM on Friday if no one from the other team has posted.
---Any roleplay that does not follow these rules will not be counted in deciding the matches.
6. Swamping or Sniping Rule:
---To prevent people from swamping the other RPer at the last second, the last day before the deadline you will only be able to post ONE roleplay. This means you can only post one RP in the last 24 hours. You have two weeks to write roleplays. Be a good sport and post them as you finish.
1st offence you will be taken off the next show..
2nd offence you will be removed from the roster until we see fit to bring you back in..
7. Gimmick infringement
You cannot use the gimmick of any WWE licensed product, nor mention anything WWE related in a RP. We can be brought up on legal action for doing so, so if this happens you will be immediately removed from the fed, no questions asked.
8. Using others characters
You must gain permission from another handler before using their character in a physical nature in any of your roleplays and this includes their NPCs. You will only receive one warning for this offense. A two time offender will be immediately terminated from the federation.
So, to make sure you understand….
--Make sure to ask permission in the use of any character or NPC that you have not created unless otherwise specified. If you do this more than once, you will be removed from the fed.
--You may NOT portray characters in a manner that could be deemed as a malicious attack on characters.
9. Ideas
If you have ideas for your character, whether it is segments and/or storylines, please send them via PM to one of the PWA Staff. We should get back to you within 48-72 hours.
10. Flaming .
Do not rip on/flame/otherwise talk down any other fed in your RPs. This is a form of flaming, and I don't care if you say its IC or not. It only leads to fed drama and we all know we can do with less of that. This goes for ANY other fed, including ones on this site. Saying someone is a bad champion for another fed is fine. Calling the fed itself nutsty is not. First offense will get you jobbed and warned for flaming. Second offense will get you fired. NO EXCEPTIONS! There will be absolutely NO airing of dirty laundry in the forums. If you create a thread doing this, you will be launched from the fed REGARDLESS of who you are.
11. Posting RPs
Please only post your RPs in the appropriate thread. Do not create new threads for RPs unless given special permission by a moderator. You will receive one warning and if it happens a second time you will be brought up for suspension. Also do not post OOC comments in a match thread. Save that for the locker room or the show comments thread.
12. Swearing
Swearing is allowed but on a limited basis. Overuse of swearing can hurt your RP and cost you a match if we so see fit.
13. Voting
Matches are typically decided on who had the best RPs period unless something was agreed upon by the competitors before the match was written. It’s also quality over quantity. One good RP will defeat several mediocre RPs any day. Matches are decided by the PWA Staff. If one of the CC members is in the match itself, they will not be involved in the decision of the outcome. Each CC member might be looking for slightly different things but these are the general guidelines. If you have a problem with the outcome, do not attack us over the board. Send us a PM and we will address your concern.
14. Violence
Using violent crimes in RPs is allowed here, however only with NPCs that you have created, No staff or other wrestlers unless given special permission to do so. You will be automatically tossed if you break this rule. Also try to use this sparingly anyway, because it is unrealistic to kill off someone on each promo.
15 “Stealing”
NO"stealing" them from other people, also known as ripping. This means you take someone's RP and only change the names to fit your character. Anyone found in violation of this WILL be dismissed from the fed immediately AND it could result in being banned from the board as well. You must be able to prove that your RP's are your own work.
16 Rankings
A Power Ranking system (like WWE has) is in place to give some sort of idea where you stand in the fed. By no means though does it mean that the number 2 guy is necessarily top contender for the title and it may be that the World Champion is NOT #1. There may be separate singles and tag rankings as well. All CC members rank their top guys and the overall is accumulated.
17 Problems
A.Do not in any way, shape or form contact us telling us on how you should have won your particular match. You will be jobbed and embarrassed out of the federation plain and simple. However, we will accept questions as to why you lost.
B.Do not ask the Creative Control when the card or show will be finished unless you plan on asking to help. You will be jobbed until you become lovers with the canvas. You will submit to a headlock. Get it? Got it? Good.
C. All of the Rules of Profound Wrestling Association apply here as they do in every other Forum, so if you need to refresh you Memory then here are the Guidelines of Black Horizon Productions.....
